Our story
Once upon a time, 34 years ago, a technology rental and finance company called Spartan was born.
Over decades of successful business, we realised a real need in South Africa for dependable, trustworthy specialists in refurbished hardware. Many people were looking for budget-friendly computers that are as good quality as brand new, at affordable prices.
These technical professionals took their expertise in refurbishing computers for businesses and applied it to helping individuals in need of a good deal on PCs, laptops, desktops and printers/copiers.
And then, in 2010, Half Price Computers was born.
