Extended Warranty

We want you to have peace of mind when dealing with Half Price Computers. For this reason, an optional extra upgrade on most of our products is our X-tended Warranty option.

What is the X-tended Warranty?

The X-tended Warranty is an optional add-on to your Half Price Computers purchase. This warranty will cover your Half Price Computers purchase under warranty against any defects for 1 year. If any defects are found within that 1 year period, Half Price Computers will retrieve the purchased item and either repair or replace it.

How long is this warranty valid for?

This warranty is valid for exactly 1 year from the date of your purchase [365 calendar days].

What does the warranty cover?

The purchase you elected to cover with the X-tended Warranty option when you purchased it from Half Price Computers. In the instance of that same machine being defective, not-working or damaged within the 1 year period, it would fall under warranty.

What will the warranty not cover?

• Any item not expressly covered by the X-tended Warranty option when paid for on the Half Price Computers website.

• Please note: the X-tended Warranty option can only be purchased as an add-on item at the time of selecting your Half Price Computers machine and paying for it online. Once you have finalised your purchase order and paid, you may not elect to add on an X-tended Warranty. These are only available at the time of purchasing.

• Any item initially covered by the X-tended Warranty but older than 1 year [365 calendar days] from the date of purchase.

• Not all items available for sale on the Half Price Computers website offer an X-tended Warranty option. In the case of items without this X-tended Warranty option, the warranty would not apply nor cover the purchase.

• We will not refund any purchases without a proof of purchase provided (see ‘If I need to claim on the warranty what do I do?’) .

• Accidents, negligence, abuse or misuse.

• if any problems do are and you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us. We are more than happy to resolve any situation ASAP.

How much does the X-tended Warranty cost?

• Unlike our Free 3 month Warranty and 7-Day 100% Money-Back Guarantee, the X-tended Warranty option is not free, but is an add-on option which will cost you an additional fee added to your purchase price.

• This price will differ depending on the item being purchased.

• However, the price will clearly be displayed at the checkout online as an optional add-on. This price will be added to your total purchase price amount to be paid to us before receiving your order.

What do I need to do to get this warranty?

To ensure that your Half Price Computers purchase is covered by X-tended Warranty, all you need to do is the following:

• When selecting your Half Price Computers purchase, you will notice an upgrade section or badge to the side of what you have ordered.

• Under ‘upgrade’ you will see a box to select entitled ‘X-tended Warranty’ option. Ensure that you select the box under optional extra add-on purchases

• Please note: the X-tended Warranty option can only be purchased as an add-on item at the time of selecting your Half Price Computers machine and paying for it online. Once you have finalised your purchase order and paid, you may not elect to add on an X-tended Warranty. These are only available at the time of purchasing.

• Simply pay the total cost amount, which will include the X-tended Warranty option if selected, to finalise your order.

• Your purchase will now be covered by the X-tended Warranty.

If I need to claim on the warranty what do I do?

All you need to do to get your replacement machine is the following:

• Notify Half Price Computers in writing of the problem.

• Include proof of your purchase (payment).

• After we receive your claim, we will contact you either via email or phone.

• We process your claim.

• We will contact you to confirm the address for the replacement/repair item.

• We dispatch a vehicle to retrieve the item, and thereafter deliver your replacement/repair.

Who deals with my claim?

• We personally assess all claims and reply to you on the refund process (or replacement process, if requested).

• Half Price Computers will make a final decision on the legitimacy of all claims.

What happens after my claim is approved?

• After we approve your claim, we will notify you of the decision (see ‘If I need to claim on the warranty what do I do?’)

• We will then replace or repair the machine to the same specifications.

• This will be delivered to the original buyers address (unless otherwise confirmed) as soon as possible.

• If we are replacing the unit, we will first collect the incorrect item before sending you your replacement.
