What is the 7 day 100% money-back guarantee?

  • All our products come with a 7 day money-back guarantee
  • Should you receive a product that is incorrect, damaged (excluding minor scratches/superficial marks) or faulty, you can elect to return your purchase within a week [7 calendar days] of buying it and we will refund you 100% of your money back or you can elect to return your purchase and we will replace the item


What does the guarantee cover?

All machines within 7 calendar days of purchase which are found to be:

  • Incorrect (i.e. not what you ordered)
  • Product specifications don't match the order you placed
  • Damaged (excluding minor scratches/superficial marks)
  • Not working


What does the guarantee not cover?

  • Any items older than 7 calendar days from the date of purchase
  • If the product matches the order specification but does not meet your requirements (please make sure that the products specs match your needs at time of purchase)
  • Minor scratches & marks - we make sure all our products are of the highest quality but these products are refurbished and as such may have superficial scratches/marks
  • We will not refund any purchases without proof of purchase provided (see ‘What do I need to give you when I submit my claim?’)
  • Any purchases made by dealers, wholesalers or retailers
  • Accidents, negligence, abuse or misuse
  • If any problems do arise and you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us. We are more than happy to resolve any situation ASAP


How does the money-back process work?

All you need to do to get your 100% money-back refund is the following:

  • Notify us in writing , along with proof of your purchase, within 7 calendar days of purchasing
  • After we have received this, we will contact you either via email or phone
  • We will process your claim
  • If you have elected to get a refund, we will contact you and confirm the banking details to send the refund amount to
  • If you have elected to get a replacement, we will contact you to confirm the address to send the replacement to
  • We will dispatch a vehicle to retrieve the incorrect/damaged item, and thereafter deliver your replacement


What do I need to give you when I submit my claim?

  • Just send us your proof of purchase which you received when you bought from us
  • Simply send this with your claim in writing and you’re set


Who deals with my claim?

  • We personally assess all claims and reply to you on the refund process (or replacement process, if requested)
  • Half Price Computers will make a final decision on the legitimacy of all claims


What happens after my claim is approved?

  • After we approve your claim, we will notify you of the decision (see ‘What do I need to give you when I submit my claim?’)
  • We will confirm the banking details for your refund with you
  • We will then refund 100% of the price you paid for your order, if you elect for a refund
  • Or we will replace the unit if you have elected this option
  • If we are replacing the unit, we will first collect the incorrect/damaged item before sending you your replacement
